About the Founder

Geri Puleo is the principal and founder of G. A. Puleo & Associates.  A seasoned entrepreneur, she possess strong crednetials in the areas of human resources and career coaching.  She is nationally certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and holds both an M.A. in Human Resources & Industrial Relations Management as well as an M.B.A. with a concentration in Leadership; she is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Management with a concentration in Leadership and  Change Management. 

A published author of nearly 100 articles on career management, human resources strategies and burnout, she is the former lead writer of a highly successful weekly job search column for The Employment Paper (a subsidiary of The Pittsburgh Business Times) as well a monthly columnist on human resources issues for E-Magnify Women's Business Center (www.e-magnify.com).  

An active member in the Society for Human Resource Management, she is a founding member and past president of Tri-State SHRM in southwestern Pennsylvania.  A previous Board member fo the SHRM's Pennsylvania State Leadership Council, she co-presented 3 workshops to U.S. chapter presidents at the 2004 SHRM National Leadership Conference in Arlington, VA.

Ms. Puleo also teaches undergraduate and graduate business classes at Penn State University, Seton Hill University, Community College of Allegheny County and Robert Morris University.
