About the Founder
Geri Puleo, the principal & founder of G. A. Puleo & Associates, is an entrepreneur with over 25 years experience. Her articles on HR have been published at www.e-magnify.com& she is the former lead writer of a highly successful weekly job search column for The Employment Paper (a subsidiary of The Pittsburgh Business Times). She has published nearly 100 articles on career management, human resources strategies & burnout. Her research findings on burnout during transformational organizational change were published as part of the AMDS national conference in Dallas in 2006. An active member in the Society for Human Resource Management, she is a founding member & past president of Tri-State SHRM & currently serve as Co-Director of College Relations on the Pennsylvania State Leadership Council; she co-presented 3 workshops at the 2004 SHRM National Leadership Conference in Arlington, VA.
She is nationally certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) & holds both an M.A. in Human Resources & Industrial Relations Management & an M.B.A. with a concentration in Leadership; she is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Applied Management & Decision Sciences with a concentration in Leadership & Change Management. She is also an adjunct business professor at Penn State University, Seton Hill University & CCAC.
